Ronald Taylor MacDonald

Ronald Taylor MacDonald 1941-2008 Ronald Taylor MacDonald, 67, of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully on July 23, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Ronald was born in Chatham, N.B. on April 6, 1941 the son of the late MacKenzie and Catherine (Taylor) MacDonald. Ron worked as a bus driver in Toronto for the TTC until his retirement in August of 1993. He enjoyed sports and was a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and the New England Patriots, of course this was if they were winning. Above all things the most important to him was being a great husband and dad. He was always there when needed and he cherished times spent with his family. There are many good memories and he will never be forgotten. "When a loved one becomes a memory. A memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories." He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and best friend of 28 years, Susan; his daughters, Cathy and Leanne; his sons, Chris, Ronnie Jr., and Jamie; his four grandchildren; brothers, Warren (Doris) and Stephen; sisters, Enid Boudreau (Paul) and Wilma LeBlanc (Noel); mother-in-law, Irene McKeown; and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant sister, Roberta. Honoring Ron's own wishes there will be no visitaion or funeral service. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations to the IWK Children's Hospital in his memory would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, N.B. (506) 734-2780 www.albertcountyfh.com
