Jean Irene Lewis 1922 - 2008 Jean Lewis, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home formerly of Germain Street passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Monday, August 11, 2008. Wife of Ottis Lewis. Born on March 22, 1922 daughter of the late Sydney and Letitia (Bulmer) Geldart. Jean was a long time member of the Pythian Sisters and Salvation Army Home League. Her first loves were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ottis of 67 years; and her 11 children, Gordon (Florence) Geldart of Nappin, Barbara Pearson (Neil O'Neil) of St. Thomas, ON. Murray Lewis of Moncton, Graham Lewis (Dawna Steeves) of Boundary Creek, Brenda (Ronald) Atkins of New Market, ON, Bonnie (Jerry) Ward of Riverview, Debbie (Gary) Walthers of Moncton, Daniel (Kimberley) Lewis of Moncton, Peter (Dot) Lewis of Moncton, Marilyn (Oscar) Babineau of Moncton and Carolyn Lewis of Dieppe. She also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Bulmer as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by two sons, Wayne and David; one sister, Evelyn Keith; five brothers, John, Austin, Roy, Gerald and Harry; son-in-law, David Pearson; daughter-in-law, Debbie Lewis; and grandson, Kent Pearson. Arrangements entrusted with Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530 with visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service to be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
