Marcel Richer Marcel Richer, 59, of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 following a sudden illness. Born June 13, 1949 in St-Hubert, QC, he was the son of the late Hector Richer and Lorette Desgroseillers. He was employed at A-1 Hardwood Floor and a member of the Club Chasse et Pêche Haute-Aboujagane. He is survived by his wife, Rose (LeBlanc) Richer; two daughters: Joanie (Mathieu) of Québec City and Melissa (Charles) at home ; five sisters: Pierrette (Gilles Bissonnette), Rita (Ronald Robinson), Rolande (Roger Roy), Lorraine (Yves Thériault), and Jacqueline (Alain Abourousse); many nieces, and nephews. A sister, Thérèse Shaw, predeceased him. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Wednesday, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, from 9 until departure (10:10). The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 28 at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute-Aboujagane. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
