Agnes Johanna Delano The death of Agnes Johanna Delano of Burns Street, Newcastle, NB, widow of Charles William Jr., occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the age of 88. Born in Moncton, NB, Agnes was the daughter of the late Michael Edward and Annie Laura (O'Hara) Kervin. Agnes is survived by three daughters, Eleanor Sullivan (Frank) and Linda Matchett all of Newcastle, NB and Saundra Cameron of Stanley, NB; one son, Norman (Susan) of Havelock, NB; four sisters, Frances Steeves (Harold) of Moncton, NB, Marion Kervin (friend Patricia McFarlane) of Burlington, ON, Connie King of Moncton, NB and Jean Harrison (Laurie) of BC; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Dot) Kervin, Hazel DiTeco of St. Catherine, ON. "Gram" as Agnes was known, had 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Alice Murray and Evelyn Kervin; brothers, Bob, Elmer (Mike) and Norman; brothers-in-laws, Gordon Murray and Gerald King; sons-in-laws, Wayne Cameron and Lindsay Matchett and a great grandchild. Following Agnes request there will no visitation and a private graveside service will be held. In Agnes memory a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
