Shirley Faye Brake Shirley Faye Brake, 62, resident of Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex and formerly of Salisbury passed away Friday August 29, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Havelock, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Edith (Horsman) Corey. A homemaker she attended Salisbury Baptist Church and was compassionate and caring toward the elderly. She enjoyed life to the fullest and always put others before herself. She will be sadly missed by sons Chris (Billie-Jo Hall) of Sussex, Troy (Tammy) of Quispamsis; a brother Thomas Corey (Wendy) of Havelock; a sister Mary Herman (Daryl) of Moncton; two grandchildren Rebecca & Micheal and a soon to be grandchild; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. There will be no visitation by family request. The funeral will take place Monday 2 p.m. from the Havelock Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Greenhill Cemetery.
