(Roy) Passed peacefully away on August 16th, 2008 at Chancellor Park, St. John's. Roy Parsons, aged 69 years. Predeceased by his father Thomas and mother Hannah, and sister Lorraine Munro. Left with fond and loving memories his daughter Jo-Anne Canning; sons Alan and Jeff (Penney), and their mother Judy Snow; sisters Jean Perry and Margaret Parsons; brother-in-law John Munro; grandchildren Andrew and Julie Canning, Jessica and Megan Parsons; also other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the nursing staff at Chancellor Park. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 19th, at 2 p.m. from Caul's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Children's Wish Foundation.
