Brenda Logan Adams

Brenda Logan Adams 1964 - 2008 Brenda Logan Adams, 43, of Moncton, NB passed away peacefully on September 20, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital surrounded by love. Brenda's love for her family will be remembered always. She says "goodbye" to those who shared her life; her parents, Floyd and Avis Logan; her husband, Todd; daughter, Amanda (Jonathan); son, David; mother-in-law, Judy; her six siblings, Paul Logan (Cindy), Debbie Patterson (Don), Richard Logan (Mary), Donna Crandall (David), David Logan, Maureen Cormier (Gilles); brother-in-law, Ron Adams (Colleen); sister-in-law, Heather Hamilton (Kenneth); and her many nieces and nephews who she treasured, will be forever in her heart. Brenda's passions in life were family, friends and the education of children. A teacher in District 2 since 1986, her last teaching position was at Hillcrest School, a school she often referred to as "home". Brenda's smile and enthusiasm will be missed by family, community, students, colleagues and her many friends, for they too were like family to her. Her positive outlook on her illness and on life inspired many. To quote a friend, "You have not lived in the dark shadows of cancer, instead you have chosen to live in the sunshine of life." Brenda and her family would like to thank the following people for their care and dedication: Dr. Rubin, Dr. Mansfield, Dr. L. LeBlanc, Dr. Mukherjee, Dr. C. Losier, Dr. Perk, Dr. Hall-Losier, nurses on Moncton Hospital's 6600, the Palliative Care Unit, and the Chemo Clinic. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Memorial service on Thursday, September 25th, 2008 at St. Paul's United Church, 404 Cleveland Ave., Riverview at 4 pm followed by a reception in the Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Hillcrest School Library would be appreciated.
