Emelia Allain-Cormier

Emelia Allain-Cormier 1917 - 2008 Emelia Allain-Cormier, 90, of Aboujagane has passed away on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 after a brief illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Married to the late Emile Allain (1974) and in a second marriage to the late Frederick Cormier (1990), she was born in Bouctouche on December 31st, 1917 to the late Pierre and the late Marie (LeBlanc) Cormier. Emelia is survived by five daughters; Claudette Robichaud of Maynard, Mass., Catherine Roberts of Epping, New Hampshire, Maria Clasby of Waltham, Mass., Anne-Marie Huser (James) of Hisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Loretta Bastarache of Aboujagane, three sons; Gérard of Moncton, Désiré of Waltham, Mass. and Jean-Marie (Marie) of Wells, Maine, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one daughter; Monique, two brothers; Antoine and Gérard, four sisters; Yvonne, Madeleine, Amanda and Anna, and one grandchild; Annette. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29, rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Monday, October 13th, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. and Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean-Baptist Roman Catholic church, Bouctouche on October 14th, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Emelia's memory donations can be made to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Foundation.
