Gary Herbert Ward 1946 - 2008 The death of Gary Herbert Ward, 62years, of Burnaby, BC occurred at his residence on Tuesday September 20, 2008. Born in Bass River, NB February 18, 1946 he was the son of the late Hugh Walter and Patricia (Fitzpatrick) Ward. Gary had been a resident of British Columbia for the past 25 years and he had been employed as a ship's Captain in the fishing industry. He was also the building superintendent of his apartment building and was active with community volunteer work. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Lee Ward (Linda) of British Columbia, David Ward (Alta), Grace Neves (Rance), James Ward (Cathy), Robin Ward, Nancy Ward all of Moncton, Dale Ward (Betty) of Salisbury, Josie O'Neal (Michael) of Sackville and Elliott Ward (Paulette) of Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Rebecca Ann his brothers, Frank and Graydon. Cremation has taken place in British Columbia. Visiting with Gary's family will be held at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home, (857-1110) 114 Alma Street Moncton on Tuesday October 14th from 1pm to service time of 3pm.
