Leonard "Lash" Godin 1941 - 2008 Leonard "Lash" Godin, 67, of Grande-Digue and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 at his residence. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Camille and the late Annie (née: Doiron) Godin. Prior to retirement, he worked at the No. 5 Depot. He is survived by his special friend, Florine Cormier; two sons, Gordon (Lorraine Wright) of Lakeville and Paul (Paula) of Dieppe; their mother, Anne-Marie (née: Gallant); one sister, Doris Kmosky of Toronto; two brothers, Edgar Comeau of Moncton and John Godin of Hamilton, ON; five grandchildren, Raymond, Naomi, Mike, Amanda and Justin; three great grandchildren, Seth, William and Mikayla as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was pre- deceased by one son, Eddie; one sister, Prescilla and also by two brothers, Coco and Gordon. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Wednesday, October 15th 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, October 16th 2008 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
