Myrla Lucretia Smith The death of Myrla Lucretia (Scott) Smith occurred at her residence the Lakeview Manor in Riverview, N.B. on Thursday October 23rd, 2008. Myrla was the daughter of the late Ernestine (Garland, Scott) Smith and Walter K. Scott. Myrla was born in Moncton April 11th, 1942. At one time Myrla enjoyed her life on the farm in River Glade with her many animals, including her goats of which she made butter and cheese from their milk and sold it to the city market. She was involved in a tragic car accident in 1992, and she became a resident of Lakeview Manor. She is survived by her daughter Vickie L. Smith, (James) Beckwith, Granddaughter, Mandy Lee Beckwith, Sister, Karen Scott (Sam) Waterfield, 5 brothers, Ronald K. (Donna) Scott, Brian K. (Theresa) Scott, Craig K. (Carol) Scott, Murray C. (Sharon) Smith, Dana E. Smith, Aunts, Mildred Deware, Lorna Johnston, Glendine (Don) McGaghey, Uncles, Gordon (Marion) Garland, Everett Garland, Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis A. Smith, son Allan and brother Rickey Smith. Myrla was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 pm; a memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating, all in Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac.
