Oscar J. Allain 1924-2008 Richibucto, NB - Oscar J. Allain, 84 of Richibucto passed away suddenly at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Friday, October 24th, 2008. Born in Ste. Marie, he was the son of the late Alyre and Annie (LeBlanc) Allain. Oscar will be sadly missed by his wife Oliva (Richard) Allain, 3 daughters; Albertine Ward (Paul) of Cape Cod, Denise Herbert (Charles) of Waltham, Mass., and Florence Allain (Desiré) of West Palm Beach, Florida, 2 sons; Michael (Rita Lee) of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Robert (Mireille) of Dieppe, and 9 grandchildren; Charles Jr., Violet, Jamie-Lee, Felicia, Mikayla, Nathalie, Emilie, Maxime, and Lucas. He is also survived by 3 sisters; Pauline Lacombe, Yvonnice Bourque and Geneva Arsenault, and 1 brother; Alcide. Oscar was predeceased by his first wife Odila (Doiron) Allain, 2 infant children; Valerie and Maurice and 2 brothers; Emile and Ulysse. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from noon until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday, October 28th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Ste. Marie Roman Catholic Cemetery.
