Kenneth McNair 1947 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Ken McNair, which occurred on Monday, October 27th, 2008 as a result of a car accident. Born in Advocate Harbour, NS he was the son of Marvis (Spicer) and the late Kenneth McNair. He is survived by his mother, Marvis, of Moncton; his partner of 24 years, Deanna Robinson; step children, Sherry and Robert LeBlanc of Riverview, Paul Robinson of Moncton, Jo-Anne Robinson of Toronto and Sharon and Jim Fisher of Moncton. He was Grandpa Ken to Daryl, Justin and Cassandra, Robert, Tim and David and Deanna. Ken retired in 2000 from NBtel after 33 years of service. He was proud to continue working as a consultant with Carter Brothers of Moncton and Eastlink of Halifax. Ken loved sports. He was a competitive curler, pool player and avid golfer and was a member of Lakeside Golf and Country Club. Ken loved getting together, whether it be family, with friends or co-workers, and especially the yearly summer BBQ at Nancy's cottage. He was predeceased by his father Kenneth on August 1, 1986. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 1, 2008 in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
