Margaret (Laird) Carson 1926 - 2008 Margaret Dora Carson, of Pine Glen, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the age of 82 years. "Maggie" was known for her tireless spirit, her devotion to her church and Sunday School classes, her endless crochet projects, and of course her love of her Lord and Savior. Born in Pine Glen, NB she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Rose (Horsman) McNevin. She is survived by her daughter, Gail (Morris); sons, John, and Peter; stepchildren, Evelyn (Gerald), Brock (Barb), Charles (Heather), and Glen. Maggie will also be missed by her 17 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and daughters-in-law, Stella, Cynthia, and Joan. She was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Laird in 1990 and second husband, Charles Carson in 1996; stepdaughter, Sharon; sisters, Dorothy, Doris, Marion, Honey (Alma); infant sister, Emma; and brother, Job. Visitation will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 11am with Rev. Tony Blair officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations made in memory of Maggie to Bethel Baptist Church or to The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
