71, New Waterford, N.S. It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Austin Renwick Kelly at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Born in Smith Falls, Ontario, he was the son of Effie Kelly (Kendel) and the late Garfield Kelly. Before retiring he was employed by Oasis Oil Company in Libya. He then moved to New Waterford and actively co-managed Midway Taxi. Austin is survived by his mother, Effie, of Ontario; his wife, Donna (Warburton) Kelly, of New Waterford; daughters, Judy Wuytenburg (Rob), Michelle Moggach (Todd Kennedy), Colleen Martin and Heather Dignard (Steve), all of Ontario, Kim Kelly, at home; sons, Steven Kelly and Todd Warburton (Lori), both of Ontario; 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Austin is also survived by his "special" grandson, Mackenzie Kelly. Austin was predeceased by his father, Garfield Kelly, his two brothers, Olan and Norman Kelly, and granddaughter, Victoria Wuytenburg, in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at 7 p.m. at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, New Waterford, N.S.
