Alban Daigle 1917 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alban Daigle at Dr. Georges L.-Dumont Hospital on Thursday, November 13, 2008. Born in Baker Brook, son of the late Firmin and Georgina (Lang) Daigle. Alban will be sadly missed by his wife Edwina of 64 years, three sons; Jean-Marc (Michel), Marcel (Danielle) both of Montreal and Gilles (Josette) of Dieppe, four daughters; Nicole (Bill) Bertignoll, Parise (Yvon) Friolet of Caraquet, Jocelyne (Pierre) Portugais of Montreal, Michelle of Dieppe, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Georgette of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday, November 17, 2008 from 11 to 12 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Sainte-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church on Monday November 17, 2008 at 1:30 pm followed by a reception at the Club d'âge d'or de Dieppe. Remembrances in Alban's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Club d'âge d'or de Dieppe. Alban was President of the Club d'âge d'or de Dieppe for a number of years.
