John Wry Welling 1935 - 2008 Shediac Cape, NB - John Wry Welling, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 15, at The Moncton City Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Shediac Cape on January 2, 1935, he was the son of the late George L. and Winnie (Murray) Welling. He is survived by his wife, Nora (Wood) Welling; three sons, Christopher John Welling (Amy Fyfe) of Brookfield, NS, Stephen George Welling (Annabel Hayes) and Lloyd Norman Welling both of Shediac Cape; one daughter, Marion Welling of Shediac Cape; two brothers, Arnold Welling (Joy) and Leonard Welling (Norma) both of Shediac Cape; one sister, Jean Murray (Ross) of Bateman's Mill; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Matthew. John was predeceased by two brothers, Lionel and Charlie; three sisters, Eula, Ruth, Edith; and two infant grandchildren, Thomas and Caleb. There will be no visitation as requested by the family. The service will take place at St-Martin's-in-the-Woods Anglican Church in Shediac Cape on Tuesday, November 18 at 2pm. A reception will follow in the Young Smith Hall after the funeral.
