Darrell Clifford Geldart
Darrell Clifford Geldart 1965-2008 Darrell Clifford Geldart,43, of Hillsborough passed away on November 18, 2008 after an accident in the work place. Darrell was born in Riverside-Albert, Albert County on June 25, 1965 the son of Clifford Geldart and the late Elsie (Hayward) Geldart. Darrell worked as a mechanic at Centennial Poniac Buick GMC Ltd. in Saint John. Darrell was known for his easy going manner and for his great sense of humour. He was an avid computer technician, always helping his family and friends with their computers. He had a special place in his heart for animals and took great pride in getting his pets from the Saint John Animal Rescue League. He was a truly special person who will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. He will be deeply missed by his partner, Brian Richard of Saint John; his father Clifford and his stepmother Reta of Hillsborough; brothers, Brent (Eleanor) of Moncton, Derek (Annette) of Salisbury and Jeremy (Victoria) of Prosser Brook; sister, Julie Hovey (Richard) of Saskatchewan; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. He will also be missed by all of his extended family-The Richard family and the O'Connor family and by all his co-workers. Besides his mother he was predeceased by a sister-in-law Sherry. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 1:00pm with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating. Interment will be held in the Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, N.B. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers -donations to the Saint John Animal Rescue League or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
