Gerald LeBlanc "Kent Bonbons" 1940 - 2008 Gerald LeBlanc "Kent Bonbons", 68, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche has passed away at the Manoir, after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 29, 2008. Married to the late Julia (Melanson) LeBlanc (2003), he was born in Cocagne on January 11, 1940 to the late Ovila LeBlanc and Yvonne (Robichaud) LeBlanc of Bouctouche. Gerald was well known in the area as the founder, owner of Kent Bonbon from 1967 to 2002, he was also a founding member of the Bouctouche Lions Club, and member of the Rotary Club. Gerald is survived by his mother, Yvonne LeBlanc of Bouctouche; two sons, Richard (Diane) and Stephane (Rhonda) both of Moncton; one grandson, Jérémy; six brothers, Ovile (Léona) of Cocagne, Jean-Paul (Stella), Ronald (Rachel) both of Bouctouche, Guy (Pauline) of Moncton, Maurice (Diana) of Petit Rocher, Yvon (Anna) of Saint-Antoine; and several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'Église, Bouctouche, on Sunday from 7-9pm and Monday from noon to 1:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 2pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Gerald's memory donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
