Raymond "Couchie" Joseph Rossiter 1938 - 2008 Raymond " Couchie" Joseph Rossiter, 70, of Beaverbrook passed away at his residence on November 26, 2008. Raymond was born in Riverside- Albert on July 7, 1938 the son of the late Joseph and Claire (Duffy) Rossiter. Couchie worked in the woods. He enjoyed going to the Albert County Exhibitions. He loved animals, having a special place in his heart for his dog , Bullet, and for his many cats. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Geraldine McKinley (Alton) of Riverside-Albert, Josephine Harkin (George) of Halifax , Catherine Nickerson (Gary) of London, Ontario and by his brother, Walter Rossiter (Janet) of Riverside-Albert. He will also be missed by his several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7 to 9pm, there will be Parish Prayers and a time of sharing memories starting at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Riverside-Albert on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 11:00am with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will take place in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, in the spring. For those who wish, donations to the Riverside-Albert Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
