Frederick Warden Leaman

Frederick Warden Leaman 1915-2008 Frederick Warden Leaman, 92, of Stoney Creek passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home. Fred was born in Berryton, Albert County on December 9, 1915 the son of the late William and Alma (Wilson) Leaman. He was a farmer and a self employed trucker. He loved farming and especially his horses. He was a member of the Stoney Creek Baptist Church. Fred loved times spent with his family and was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family forever. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Doreen Steeves (Joseph) and Barbara Cormier both of Stoney Creek; his sons, Kenneth Leaman (Bette) of Bathurst and Glendon Leaman of Stoney Creek; sisters, Irene Smith and Vice Hanlon both of Fredericton and Marion Keith of Moncton; brother, Harold Leaman of Moncton. He will also be missed by his 16 cherished grandchildren; by his several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Ada (Prosser) Leaman who passed away in 2003; son-in-law, Gerard Cormier; brothers, Blair, Lester and Gerald; sisters, Mae, Kay, Lottie, Martha and Hilda and by his grandchildren, Stephen Leaman and Billy Steeves. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church, Stoney Creek on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 2:00pm with Pastor Douglas Steeves officiating. Interment will be held in the Stoney Creek Cemetery, Stoney Creek, N.B. For those who wish, donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
