Blakney, Donna Irene 1947 - 2008 SACKVILLE - The death of Donna Irene (nee Smith) Blakney, 61, of Sackville, occurred on Thursday, December 4, 2008. Born in Sackville, she was the daughter of Laurie and Irene Smith. Donna was an active member of the Wood Point Baptist Church and The Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a loving daughter that always looked out for her mom and dad. She will be sadly missed by her husband, James; parents, Laurie and Irene Smith of Wood Point; one son, Justin (Angela) of Sackville; one brother, Ron (Janet) Smith, Riverview. Donna was predeceased by her first husband Paul. Donna's remains have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville (364-1300). Her family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, December 5, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
