Rita LeBlanc
Rita LeBlanc 1922 - 2008 Rita LeBlanc, age 86, of Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche passed away at the residence on Sunday, December 7, 2008. Married to the late Léo LeBlanc (1982), she was born in Bouctouche on August 25, 1922 to the late Jacques (Jim) and the late Virginie (Léger) Cormier. Rita worked as a janitor for 15 years at the Clement-Cormier High School. She is survived by seven daughters: Marie-Paul Allain (Tilmon), Yvette Richard (Fernand), Claudette Boudreau (Joe), Marie Richard all of Bouctouche, Pauline LeBlanc (Guy) of Moncton, Raymonde Fougère (Harvey) of Shediac Bridge, Bernice Williams (Claude) of Saint-Antoine; two sons, Bernard (Gloria) of Bouctouche and Paul-Émile (Yolande) of Campbellton; two sisters, Lina Hébert of Bouctouche and Yvonne Melanson (Gérald) of Ayer, Mass.; one brother, Antoine of Bouctouche, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Rita was predeceased by one son, Donald; three sisters, Alice, Alfreda, Géraldine and one brother, Cléophas. Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Rita's memory, donations can be made to Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche.
