Edward W. Beaver 1934 - 2008 Edward Beaver of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, December 8th, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Born in Dartmouth, July 8th, 1934, he was the son of the late Carl and Annie (Negas) Beaver. Edward's faith was important and he was an active member Saint Georges Anglican Church Moncton. Ed retired from Sears Canada following many years of service. He enjoyed bowling and camping and he will be remembered for his singing. Ed was extremely devoted to his entire family and will be sadly missed by his wife Greta, sons Grant (Jeannette), Trent (Tammy), daughters Gail Swan & Carla LeBlanc, grandchildren; Alex, Nick, Cody, Taylor, Savannah, Carl , Brandon and Sadie, all of Moncton, a brother Reg (Bernadette), a sister Carol Ann Myers (Lawrence) all of Dartmouth, as well as several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are Ed's extended family, Brad Crawford (Paulette), Jeff Crawford (Michelle), Julie Hebert (Roger) Nancy Morang, Debbie Dupont and grandchildren; James, Mark, Angie, Brian, Neil, Ryan, Stephanie, Mindy, Ashley, Melanie and Matthew. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 12th, 2008 at St. Georges Anglican Church The Rev. Chris VanBuskirk officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ed may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
