Marie McDonald 1911 - 2008 Marie McDonald, 97, of Moncton, and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away on Sunday December 14th, 2008 at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton from injuries sustained, during a motor vehicle accident. Married to the late Oscar McDonald (1989), she was born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on December 8, 1911 to the late Armand and the late Alma (Allain) Cormier. Marie had been a member of the Sainte-Marie de Kent Golden Age Club, and belonged to the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. She is survived by eight children, Rose-Marie Allain of Windham, NH, Thérèse Dalton (John) of Yuma, Arizona, Lucienne McDonald (John Lazarro) of Waltham, Mass., Gaston (Eulalie) of Richmond, VA., Paul (Marie Leigh) of King William, VA., Vincent (Josie) of Marlboro, Mass., Robert (Martha) of Blackstone, Mass., Maurice of Boston, Mass., ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four sisters, Aurore LeBlanc, Dorilla Quillian, Rosa Bastarache all of Moncton, Irène Rouleau (Fernand) of Montreal, and several nephews and nieces. Marie was predeceased by one sister, Sr. Lucienne Cormier, and two brothers, Gerard and Cyril. Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Monday December 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Tuesday December 16th, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Marie's memory donations can be made to the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church Sainte-Marie de Kent, in lieu of flowers.
