Marjorie Pauline Nickerson 1929 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our much loved sister and aunt Marjorie Pauline Nickerson at home in the early morning hours on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Born October 9, 1929 in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Phoebe (Hendrickson) Fougère. She will be greatly missed by her sister Bessie MacGarvie (late Robert) of Pointe-du-Chêne, a brother Elie Fougère (Marie) of Shediac, a sister-in-law Elvira Simmons (late George) of Nova Scotia, and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Clint Nickerson, a sister Iva Fenwick and by two brothers: Donald and Frank Fougère. As per Marjorie's wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Chapel Service will be held at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac. Following the chapel service, a reception will be held at the Pointe-du-Chêne Community Hall.
