Albert J. Richard 1913 - 2008 Albert J. Richard, 95, of Cap-Pelé passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born June 4, 1913 in Petit-Cap, he was the son of the late Anastas and Anna (LeBlanc) Richard. As a young man, Albert worked in the United States before returning to Cap-Pelé where he met and married Edmée LeBlanc. They started their family of four sons and four daughters before moving to Nova Scotia, settling in Pictou. Albert worked for Ferguson Industries (Pictou Shipyards) for 35 years before retiring and returning to Cap-Pelé. He will be sadly missed by three daughters: Lorraine MacInroy (Ken) of Sardis, B.C., Anna Seeley (Grant) of Baring, ME, Judith Stewart (Donald) of Scotsburn, N.S.; two sons: Alyre of Cap-Pelé, and Ernest (Donna) of Red Deer, AB; one sister Baselice ''Bessie'' Cyr (Arnold) of Pictou, N.S., one brother Léo (Armance) of Stoneham, MA; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his loss the children of his second wife Lucille: Gloria Richard (late Normand) of Petit-Cap, Clovis Jacob (Maryse) and Elsie Jacob (Rhéal Poirier) both of Shediac, Eddy Jacob (Lee) of Grand Bay, Dina Jacob of France and by several step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife Edmée (LeBlanc) Richard, his second wife Lucille (Niles) Richard, two sons: Omer and infant Blair, daughter Albertine, three grandchildren: Judith, Richard and Bruce; by five brothers: Valerie, Oswald, Fred, Joe and Cliff; and by a step great grandson, Steven. Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:50 a.m.). Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
