Donna Jeanette Lund 1938 - 2008 SACKVILLE After a brief illness, Donna Lund of Sackville passed away peacefully at the Sackville Hospital with her family at her side. Donna was in her 71st year. Born in Sackville, NB on October 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Rensforth and Genesta Tower. Donna was a mother, grandmother, and homemaker who had a great zest for life and spending time with friends and family. She especially loved spending time at her cottage at Ann's Acres and socializing with her friends in Sackville, in particular those at the Main Street Baptist Church, where she had attended since she was a child. Donna will be sadly missed by her four children, sons; Chris of Toronto, ON, Peter (Cathy) of Fredericton, David (Johanne) of Toronto, ON, daughter Susan (Jonathan) Plomp of Regina, Sask, one brother; Gordon of Saint John, her eight grand-children and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by Mervyn Lund, her husband of 45 years and several brothers; Stuart, Hartley, Norman (Tommy), Roy and Donald along with sister Marguerite (Sloan). A memorial service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 2 pm, Pastor Swanson officiating.
