Ralph C. Gordon Ralph C. Gordon, 88, of The Glades, and formerly of Elgin, passed away on December 23, 2008 at the Jordan Lifecare Center. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Charles and Lily (Gillett) Gordon. Ralph was a retired ship-builder. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Cuthberson) Gordon. Ralph is survived by his son, Barry Gordon (Shirley), Elgin; his sister, Audrey McCluskey, Saint John. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm with Rev. James Hammond presiding, in the Elgin Baptist Church. Interment will be held in the New Elgin Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Armstrong's Funeral Home.
