Edmee Donelle GREAT SHEMOGUE - The death of Edmee Richard, Age 88, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Great Shemogue, occurred at her residence on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Born in Little Cape, she was a daughter of the late Theotime and Colestie (Cormier) Richard. Edmee will be sadly missed by her son Leo Donelle (Sylvie Richard) of Petit Cap; an adopted son, Billy (Camilla) Richard, Shediac, and grandchildren Danny Fougere and Jeffrey Donelle and 10 great grandchildren and an adopted son Alban Donelle (Lorrie Patterson) of Port Elgin and granddaughter Cassandra. She will be greatly missed also by grandchildren Betty-Ann (Gary) Walton of St. Andre and Naomi Richard of Petit Cap and great grandchild Jolene Doiron; sister-in-law, Rita Richard, Cap Pele, as well as her ex-husband, Roy Donelle, many nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by an 11 month old infant son, Clarence Richard; 2 brothers, Alban and Dosithe Richard, her sisters, Mathilde, Domithilde and half-sister, Christine. Edmee's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin (506-538-2241). A time of visitation will be held at the Club d'Age d'Or de Shemogue on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated from the St. Timothee Roman Catholic Church, Great Shemogue on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11 am. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or fund of the donor's choice.
