Catherine F. Hicks Catherine F. Hicks, 89, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Born in Cowenbeath, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Bridgett (Sullivan) Jones. Catherine was a former employee of CY'S Seafood Restaurant, Moncton with 25 years service and was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Moncton. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Toronto Blue Jay fan, but first and foremost was her love and quality time spent with her family. Catherine will be sadly missed by her children Elaine Turner (William), Hampton; James (Sandra), Moncton; Robert (Vicky), Kamloops, BC; Carol Ann Hicks, Prince George, BC; Glenn (Karen), Moncton; Karl (Beverly), Moncton; Gary (Cindy), Moncton; Dennis (Lydia), Kamloops, BC; Brian (Kim), Moncton; Mark, Moncton; 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Sisters, Alice Wheaton (Late Chester), Wheaton Settlement; Gladys Lutes (late Frank), Moncton; brother, Robert Jones (Blanche), Hampton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband Harold J. Hicks (May 1988), sister Lena Wheaton and brother Everett Jones. No visitation by personal request.
