Suzanne Barnaby The death of Suzanne (Suzie) Barnaby widow of Peter W. Barnaby of Eel Ground, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the age of 93. Born in Bathurst, NB, Suzie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline (Didime) Barnaby. Suzie was a homemaker and attended St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church, Eel Ground, NB. Suzie is survived by four daughters: Marjorie Yascavage (Late Danny) of Dayton, Ohio, Anita McCulloch (John) of Ottawa, ON, Patricia Dewan (Louis) Osgoode, ON and Diana Barnaby (Gary Busch) of Burton, NB; two sons: Percy (Carol Ann) of Eel Ground, NB and Archie (Linda) of Cookeville, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; Predeceased by two infants sons: Kenneth and Peter; son-in-law Danny Yascavage and 12 sisters and brothers. Visitation will be held at Bell's Funeral Home on Friday, January 2, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church,Eel Ground, NB with Father Walter Lynch officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. In Suzie's memory a donation may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NB Arthritic Society.
