Nelida Gallant 1921 - 2009 Nelida Gallant, 87, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, January 1st 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and the late Nelida (née: Gallant) Poirier. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph; three daughters, Raymonde (late Yvon) LaFlamme of Dieppe, Francine (Emmanuel) Cormier of Riverview and Gisele (Steven) Vallee of Moncton; two sons, Rolland (Claudette) and Michel (Gloria), both of Dieppe; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Edna, Augusta and Maria and also by three brothers, Gerard, Don and Alyre. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, January 5th 2009 at 11 am. Interment in the Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
