Miriam R. MacDonald 1925- 2009 Miriam Rebeccah MacDonald of Mazerolle Special Care Home, Dieppe, passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital age 83; with her daughter by her side; on Thursday, January 1st, 2009. Born in Two Rivers, NS, July 5th 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Viola (Melanson) Greer. Miriam is survived by her daughter Judith MacDonald of Moncton and two sons: Lloyd (Laura) of Surrey BC, Peter (Lily) of Coquitlam, BC. Three grandchildren: Stacy Beers of Sussex; Jodi (Joe) Simpson of Stanley; and Arron of Surrey, BC. Five great grandchildren: Karley, Corey, Alexandria, Samantha and Rebeccah. Miriam is also survived by her twin sister Shirley Irwin of Toronto, Ont. and one brother Morley of River Hebert, NS and several nieces and nephews. Miriam was predeceased by beloved husband Joseph, January 5th, 2006. Also, sister Bertha and brother Gordon (Bud). At Miriam's request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will take place in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4th, 2009. Rev. Mary Anningson officiating. Reception to follow in the Garden View Room of the funeral home. Donations to charity of donor's choice would be appreciated.
