Selma Estabrooks

Selma Estabrooks 1921 - 2009 Selma E. Estabrooks, wife of the late Parker Estabrooks passed away peacefully at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Saturday, January 3rd , 2009. Born in Midgic, NB, on August 1st. 1920, she was the daughter of the late Hersey and Alice Sears. Selma was employed in the Catalog Department of the T. Eaton Co. Moncton for many years. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, especially crib and she loved animals. She is survived by her son Jackie Estabrooks (Margaret) of Hillsborough, daughters Myrna Bourgeois (Derrick Palmer) of Moncton, daughter Sharon Cameron (Ralph) of Lutes Mountain, brother Basil Sears (Shirley) of Sackville, sister Marj Bice (Mert) of Sarnia, ON, twin sister Shirley Estabrooks (late Junior) of Sackville, grandchildren; Kathy, Kristy, Kim, Sherry, Beth, Lisa and Scott, nine great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Selma was predeceased by a son, Michael Kimberly in infancy as well as five brothers. There will be no visitation by request. A celebration of life service will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7th at 2: 00 pm, Rev. Carol Mullin officiating.
