Betty Irene Beers 1929 - 2009 Betty I. Beers, 79, of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont hospital on Sunday January 11, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Myrtle (Crandall) Richards. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, doing word and piece puzzles, knitting and spending time at the family cottage (Caissie Cape) with her family and friends. Betty will be sadly missed by her husband of over 54 years, Arnold Beers; her children, Angela Leaman, Arnold Beers (Ann), Richard Golding (Carmel) and Vicki Smith; grandchildren, Nickolas and Lucas Leaman; Amanda and Anthony Golding; Jason Learette; sister, Johanna Pulfer; brother, Lorne (Buzz) Richards (Muriel); several nieces and nephews.
