Valorice Gauvin 1907 - 2009 Valorice Gauvin, 101, of Lions Senior Nursing Home, Rexton and formerly of Saint-Sosime, Adamsville, has passed away at the Residence on Friday, January 16, 2009. She was the wife of the late Gilbert Gauvin (1984). Born in Moncton on August 8, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Alice (Arsenault) Gautreau. Valorice leaves to mourn, her three daughters, Alice Petitpas, Léda Gauvin, both of Saint-Sosime and Lina Collette (Gérald) of Coal Branch; one son, Edgar (Maria) of Galligher Ridge; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two daughters, Ida and Della; two sons, Eddie and Albert; three sisters, Madeleine, Lina and Rita and three brothers, Edmond, Alphée and Eddie. Visitation will be held at the Saint-Timothée Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Adamsville on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m, and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Timothée Church, Adamsville on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
