Vincent David Cyr 1937 - 2009 Vincent D. Cyr, of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday January 17, 2009 following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Edgar and Madeline Cyr. Before retirement, Vincent served with the Canadian Armed Forces for 32 years. He was posted to bases all across Canada, also United Nations Tours of Duty in Pakistan and Egypt. He was a Life Member of the Air Force Veterans Club and attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. A loving husband, devoted father and caring grandfather, who will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years, Gloria; sons, Bruce (Heather), Paul (Valerie), David (Debbie), Jeffery (Lynda), Mike (Carol); twelve grandchildren; sister, Theresa (Jimmy); brothers, James (Pamela), George (Coleen); several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his sister, Kathleen; brothers, Edward, Robert, Francis; grandchildren, Corinne and Eric.
