Maria Bourgeois

Maria Bourgeois 1929 - 2009 Maria Bourgeois, 79, of Manoir Notre-Dame on Murphy Ave., Moncton and formerly of Acadie Street, Dieppe passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born June 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Anna (Cormier) Breau. She was a former member of the Dieppe Golden Age Club, enjoyed playing cards, darts, bowling, sewing, traveling and had a wonderful faith in God. She is survived by her loving family, four daughters: Annette Gosselin ( Léo-Paul) and Simone Melanson (Roger) both of Dieppe, Cecile McKay and Yvette Collette (Russell McKay) both of Moncton: two sons: Raymond LeBlanc (Kathy) of Moncton and Marc Bourgeois of Riverview; one brother: Robert Breau (Bernice) of Moncton; thirteen grandchildren, by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband Gérald LeBlanc, her second husband Aldor Bourgeois, and by an infant son Alonzo. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
