Louis Cormier 1962 - 2009 Louis Cormier, 46, of Ottawa and formerly of Saint-Norbert, has passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday January 19th, 2009. Born on July 18th, 1962 he was the son of the late Léo Cormier and Diana (Pellerin) Cormier. Louis was employed with the federal government in Ottawa for approximately 10 years. He leaves to mourn, his mother Diana Cormier (Arthur LeBlanc) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, three sisters, Estelle Cormier Bastarache (Terry) of Moncton, Vina Doiron (Mike) of Saint John, Denise Cormier of Bouctouche, one brother, Jean of Saint-Norbert de Kent, his godmother, Diana Pellerin of Sainte-Marie de Kent, four nephews, Patric, Jamie, Marc-André, Anthony and one niece, his goddaughter, Zoë, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. Louis was predeceased by one brother, Jean-Baptiste. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Norbert Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Norbert de Kent, on Monday January 26, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
