Donat Cormier 1941 - 2009 Donat Cormier, 68, of Saint- Antoine, and formerly of Cocagne, has passed away at his residence after a brief illness, on Tuesday January 20th, 2009. Born in Cocagne on January 17th, 1941, he was the son of the late Arcade and the late Marguerite (Bastarache) Cormier. Donat is survived by his two sons, Ronald and David of Massachusetts, one sister Jeannette Maillet (Oswald) of Bouctouche, seven brothers, Jean-Paul (Simonne), Clarence (Florence), Donald (Marie-Elodie) all of Cocagne, Rhéal (Annette), André both of Grande-Digue, Guy of Moncton, Charles (Lucille) of Saint-Antoine, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one sister, Patricia (1989). At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne on Monday January 26th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
