Evan John Emerson Reade 1990 - 2009 UPPER CAPE - The death of Evan John Emerson Reade, 19, of Upper Cape, occurred suddenly at his home on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Evan was a cherished son of Jack and Wanda (Neily) Reade. Evan enjoyed music, dining out and traveling. He knew and was loved by everyone he met. Throughout his short life, he had many specialists and doctors who all came to know and love him. He had enjoyed a five month position at South Shore Trading and had just started volunteering at the Port Elgin Regional School. His good character, And the kindness of his heart Won the affection of his loved ones. He was loved by all. He will be sadly missed by his parents; one brother, Kelly of Port Elgin; several aunts and uncles as well as many cousins; his support worker and friend, Jocelyn Roy; and his dog, Jessy. Evan was predeceased by two sisters, Tammy and Tina, and four grandparents. Evan's remains have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, (538-2241) from where his family will welcome visitors on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home 2pm on Sunday, February 1, 2009. Rev. Carman Webb officiating.
