Verna H. "Bunny" Gaudet Verna H. "Bunny" Gaudet, 75, of Moncton, after a brief illness, slipped away peacefully surrounded by those she loved. Bunny had great many joys in her life, but none meant more to her than her beloved sons and grandchildren. She spent her entire career in the restaurant business and retired as the owner of the popular lunch spot, "The Salad Bowl" where sage advice often came along with many an order of her delicious home cooked meals. Bunny is survived by her sons, Michael (Janice), Riverview, Brian (Susan), Moncton; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica and Patrick; sisters, Anna Grey and Betty Rimmer; cherished companion, Walter Lirette; dear friends Elizabeth Crawford, Janet-Lee Comeau. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Ruby Starritt, much loved stepfather, Huelett Marlatt; sister, Marion; eldest son George. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm.
