Laurie Allain 1921 - 2009 Laurie Allain, 87, of Haut Saint- Antoine, has passed away at his residence on Saturday January 31st, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Married to Loretta (Maillet) Allain, he was born in Saint-Antoine on October 31st, 1921 to the late Alphée and the late Marie (Goguen) Allain. Laurie was a Dairy farmer in Saint-Antoine for numerous years. He leaves to mourn, his wife Loretta, his two children, Norma Allain (Richard Brun), of Grande-Digue, Normand (Pauline) of Saint-Antoine, four grandchildren, Mathieu, Nathalie, Lynne and Sébastien, three sisters, Claira Lainesse of Montréal, Dora Lainesse of Montmagny, Quebec, Stella LeBlanc of Shediac, four brothers, Alonzo (Hélène), Clarence (Yvonne), Georges Alfred (Aline) all of Saint-Antoine, Albert (Vicky) of Cocagne, and several nephews and nieces. Laurie was predeceased by two sisters, Rita, and Alida. Visitation will be held at the Saint-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Tuesday February 3rd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Wednesday February 4th, 2009 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Laurie's memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Foundation, or to the Foyer Saint- Antoine.
