Ralph W. Bickford The death of Winston Ralph Bickford of Alma, NB occurred on February 4, 2009 at the age of 66. Born in Sussex, he was a son of the late Richie C. and Mary J. (Pollock) Bickford. Ralph is survived by his sisters; Elsie Friars of Sussex and Barbara (Lee) Thurrott of Riverview, brothers Lawrence (Betty) of Carberry, Manitoba, Donald (Flora) of Saint John, Murray (Clara) of Quispamsis and George of Sussex, brother in law Onorio Rossetto of Saint John and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters; Dorothy and Blanche Bickford and Mildred Rossetto and brothers Harry and Gordon Bickford. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sussex Branch #20 Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Tribute on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday February 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m in the funeral home chapel.
