Fred A. Taylor 1918 - 2009 Fred Arnold Taylor, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 16th, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Born in Smithville, Ontario, he was the son of the late William and Laura (Martin) Taylor. Fred was a retired credit supervisor for Co-op Atlantic. He was a charter member of the Riverview Baptist Church and was involved with the senior men's choir. He was a veteran of WWII and was a dedicated member of the Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association. He is survived by his wife, Freda Mae (Trites) Taylor; sons, Gary (Corena) Taylor of Moncton, Don Taylor of Riverview, and Doug (Pam) Taylor of Milford, NS; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Kim, Alanna, Allison, Evan, Maggie and Kaitie; six great-grandchildren, Jack, Carlie, Oliva, Callie, Erik and Nathaniel; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret; and his brother, Martin Taylor. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, February 18th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Riverview Veterans will hold a service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:45pm. The funeral service will be held from The Riverview Baptist Church on Thursday, February 19th, 2009 at 2pm with Reverand Jonathan Gorham officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
