D. Cory MacDonald 1974 - 2009 Miramichi Bay, N.B. - Donald Cory MacDonald, son of Donald and Judith MacDonald, of Route 117, Miramichi Bay, passed away, on Monday, February 16, 2009, at the age of 34. Born in Chatham, on October 22, 1974, he was the son of Donald (Donnie) and Judith (Judy Gilliss) MacDonald. He was a truck driver and equipment operator. He attended St. Michaels By The Sea Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi Bay. He is survived by his parents, Donnie and Judy MacDonald; one brother, Shawn MacDonald (Natalie); two nephews, Gavin and Evan MacDonald; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Erwin and Linda Gilliss as well as his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Edith MacDonald. By his request, there will be no public visitation at the funeral home. The public are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi, on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in the St. Michaels By The Sea Roman Catholic Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
