Laurida Eva (Doiron) Jones 1921 - 2009 Laurida Eva (Doiron) Jones, 87, of Clearview St., Moncton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born June 2, 1921 in Dupuis Corner, she was the daughter of the late Alphée Doiron and the late Adèle LeBlanc. She was a retired hairdresser. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Barbara Jones-Goguen of Shediac River, son Allison ''AJ'' Jones of Moncton; four sisters: Oréa Bourgeois of Moncton, Jeanne Bourgeois (Albert) and Évangeline Cormier (Gérard) both of Grande-Digue, Diana Surette (Omer) of Dieppe; two brothers: Léandre Doiron (Rose) of Dupuis Corner and Camille Doiron (Mona) of Bridgewater, N.S.; and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband William ''Bill'' Jones, five brothers: Adrice, Ovila, Alcide, Ola and Henri Doiron and by two sisters: Laura and Delphine. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois on Friday, February 20th, 2009 at 2 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery later in the spring. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
