Anna Vautour 1924 - 2009 ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Anna Vautour 84 of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria on Saturday, February 21st, 2009. Born at Cote a Fabien, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and Melanise (Hebert) Johnson. Anna was devoted to providing quilts for the needy around the world and volunteered her time knitting for neonatal units. Anna will be sadly missed by her five daughters; Claudette Daigle (Yvon) of St. Louis, Irène Montour (Normand) of Cap Pele, Yvette Cormier (Raphaël) of St. Louis, Melenda Hébert (Ronald) of St. Louis, Angela Vautour (Gilles) of PEI, and her three sons; Bernard Vautour (Donna) of Kouchibouguac, Alcide Vautour (Linda) of Miramichi, Fernand Vautour (Noëlla) of St. Louis, 25 grand children, 17 great grand children, one sister Melinda Johnson Drapeau (late Fernando) of Dalhousie, sister-in-law Mary of Minto, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ange (December 2003), and one brother Ovila. Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Thursday at 9:00 am until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held at the St. Louis de Francais Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Claire-Fontaine in the spring. If so desired, donations to the Salvation Army or donor's choice in Anna's memory would be appreciated by the family.
