Edris H. (Collier) Peters 1931 - 2009 Edris H. Peters, 77, formerly of Moncton, passed away at Drew Nursing Home in Sackville on Wednesday, February 25th, 2009. Born in Mechanic Settlement, NB; she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Myers) Collier. Edris was a former employee of T. Eaton Co. for 25 years and retired from K-Mart with 17 years service. She was a member of Sunny Brae United Baptist Church. She was a lover of cats and she enjoyed scrap booking and knitting. She will be fondly remembered her sisters in law Betty Dunstan (Jim) of New Hampshire, Helen Lewis (Harold) of Calhouns, Bertha Estey (Tim) of Calhouns, Ethel Pearson of Sussex, and June Myers of Hillsborough; brothers in law Ernie Peters (Laura) of Fredericton, Everett Peters of Sussex and Ralph Peters (Shirley) of Moncton; as well as her nieces and nephews. Edris was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Peters in 1988, by a brother Ralph Myers and a brother in law Earl Peters. Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 from 11:00am until the time of the service 1:30pm The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Joshua Dorey officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Edris made to Sunny Brae United Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. .
